History of the Enchanted Tiki Room
The Burbank Historical Society is hosting a special program featuring Animator/Director Ken Bruce, who will present “Before the Birds Sang Words”, an inside look at the history of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. The event will also include a book signing.

Flickers from the Silver Screen
The Burbank Historical Society presents “Flickers from the Silver Screen”, the annual Halloween variety show hosted by Galen Wilkes. This spooky program features vintage films from the 1890s to the 1940s, with highlights including classics celebrating their 90th and 100th anniversaries such as Phantom of the Opera and The Lost World, along with a special curated selection by Galen.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite model train for a community “show and tell.”
